Teraffic grew alongside GLIDAR. I needed a way to test convoy timing without adding chaos to city streets, so I wrote my own simulator.
Convoy priorities
- Convoy routes must respect max width and turning radius, so I prune streets that fail those checks.
- Feeder analysis marks intersections that need a rolling block instead of a full shutdown.
- Timing scripts give me buffer minutes for fuel or quick medical stops.
Sharing the plan
The final Folium map highlights convoy only lanes and no-go feeder roads, which makes the debrief smoother for both commanders and traffic police.
