CropCare CDD comes from memories of helping on family farms. A quick photo and a yes-or-no hint can save a season, so I set out to make that possible.
Collecting the data
- I shot raw photos on a phone and fixed brightness and focus before labelling.
- Basic flipping and color jittering gave me enough variation to resist overfitting.
- I balanced the dataset so healthy leaves appear just as often as diseased ones.
Helping friends use it
A Streamlit page wraps the model so farmers get a simple upload, a spoken verdict, and tips on what to look at next.
